Trogir history
Trogir is small ancient town, dated in 3rd century b.c. which was built up as the Greek colony.
Because of its rich culture UNESCO took it under its protection. And even today you can enjoy many museums, churches, two towers on Trogir waterfront which served as protection from Venice fleet who tried to take over Trogir.
One of the most famous monuments in Trogir are certanly Trogir cathedral and its world known Radovan's poral.
The interesting thing about the Trogir cahedral's belltower is that it was built in four different centuries, so its four stories are built in four different culture styles.
